Painted on location during Gilmer Arts' Art in the Mountains Plein Air event, We were assigned to paint in several vineyards in and around Ellijay, Ga. This was at the entrance to the venue at Chateau Meichtry Vineyard & Winery. It was a cloudy day and the beautiful colors of the blooms against the stone wall were hard to resist! The painting is 5x7, but framed, it measures 9x11.
